On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti 2026, pan-India actor and human rights advocate Sheena Chohan led a powerful grassroots initiative aimed at empowering young minds through awareness and understanding of their fundamental rights.

Going beyond symbolic celebration, Chohan marked the day by distributing hundreds of books focused on human rights and constitutional values to school students. She also conducted interactive sessions that transformed the principles of the Indian Constitution into engaging, real-life conversations. The initiative reached hundreds of students, fostering curiosity and encouraging dialogue around equality, dignity, and justice.

Speaking about her motivation, Chohan said, “For me, cinema and society are not separate — both are about reaching people and awakening something within them. If we can inspire awareness at a young age, we are shaping a more conscious and empowered future.”

Known for her work across multiple film industries, Chohan has carved a unique path that blends artistic expression with social responsibility. Her commitment to human rights goes beyond digital advocacy, extending into direct engagement through school outreach programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns.

During the sessions, students were introduced to the fundamentals of the Constitution, their basic rights, and the importance of balancing rights with responsibilities as active citizens. The interactive format encouraged participation, making complex ideas both accessible and impactful.

Through this initiative, Chohan continues to demonstrate how influence can be translated into meaningful action. By engaging directly with the next generation, she reinforces the idea that awareness is the first step toward transformation.

As a pan-India actor bridging cinema, culture, and social impact, Sheena Chohan represents a new wave of artists contributing not only to storytelling on screen but also to shaping societal narratives.

Continuing her mission, Chohan has already reached over 170 million people with her message of human rights. Her efforts have earned recognition at the United Nations in New York, where she became the only Indian actor to receive the Hero Award. She was also honored with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award by Joe Biden. With an ambitious vision ahead, her goal is now to reach one billion people within the year.
