Uttar Pradesh, 15 September 2026: Indus Towers, one of the world’s largest telecom infrastructure companies, has launched a flood relief initiative across the districts of Banda and Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh, reaching approximately 900 affected community members.
Undertaken under Pragati, Indus Towers’ flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, the initiative is being implemented by Indus Towers employees in partnership with the local administration to provide critical relief assistance to vulnerable families impacted by the floods. The support includes the distribution of essential supplies such as dry rations, first-aid materials, sanitary products, and specialised care kits for pregnant women and young children, addressing some of the most immediate needs arising from the crisis.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Vijay Chaturvedi, Circle CEO (UPE), Indus Towers Limited, said, “In times of adversity, the true measure of a community lies in the strength of its people and the bonds that bring them together. The floods have disrupted lives and livelihoods across Banda and Chitrakoot, creating immense challenges for thousands of families.
