After the phenomenal success of the Bhojpuri blockbuster “Welcome,” producer Abhimanyu Kumar is back with its much-anticipated sequel, “Welcome 2.” The grand muhurat of the film took place at the prestigious Country Club in Mumbai, marking the beginning of an exciting new journey under the banner of “Abhimanyu Kumar Production.” The event was graced by numerous renowned personalities from the Bhojpuri film industry, alongside the entire star cast of the film.
The muhurat ceremony witnessed the presence of esteemed personalities, including renowned producer and distributor Nishant Ujjwal, veteran actor Awadhesh Mishra, director Sujit Kumar Singh, senior actor Deepak Sinha, Vijay Yadav, singer Chand Ji, Mahendra Yadav, and actresses Bhavana Singh and Anamika Jha. All attendees extended their best wishes for the success of “Welcome 2,” recognizing it as a significant project for Bhojpuri cinema.
Acclaimed Bhojpuri actor Mani Meraj, who won the hearts of audiences with his powerful performance in “Welcome,” will reprise his lead role in “Welcome 2.” His stellar acting in the first installment left a lasting impression, and he is now set to mesmerize audiences once again in the sequel. Starring alongside him as the lead actress is Bannu the Great, adding to the film’s excitement and anticipation.
The directorial responsibility for “Welcome 2” has been entrusted to Rajnish Mishra, a celebrated director in Bhojpuri cinema.
