Renowned Bollywood and Hollywood actress, National Award-winning filmmaker, and proud daughter of Bihar, Neetu Chandra, has taken a significant step to uplift farmers in her home state and boost rural employment. She has joined as a co-founder of Agrifeeder Agricultural Services Private Limited, a startup based in Pirpainti, Bhagalpur.
Founded by Raman Kumar, Raunak Kumar, and Priya Pandey, Agrifeeder aims to improve the lives of small and marginal farmers. Currently, the startup collaborates with over 5,000 farmers, including more than 1,000 women farmers, helping them achieve self-reliance through indigenous food products, packaging, and supply chain solutions.
Neetu Chandra’s Commitment to Bihar Farmers
A native of Patna, Neetu Chandra has always remained connected to her roots. Witnessing the challenges faced by Bihar’s rural agricultural communities, she decided to join Agrifeeder to bridge the gap between farmers and the market, ensuring they receive fair compensation for their produce.
Through this initiative, Bihar’s traditional agricultural products such as Sattu, Katarni rice, and Jardalu mango will be delivered across India, enhancing the state’s identity while generating employment in villages.

With a vision to reach one million (10 lakh) customers globally within three years, Agrifeeder is set to revolutionize Bihar’s agricultural sector.

Agrifeeder’s business model empowers farmers by freeing them from middlemen.”
Highlighting gender equality, she added, “With over 1,000 women farmers already in our network, Agrifeeder is playing a key role in women’s empowerment in rural Bihar.”
Founder Raman Kumar shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Neetu Chandra’s involvement will bring national and international recognition to our brand, directly benefiting Bihar’s farmers.”
A Game-Changer for Bihar’s Agriculture
Established in 2017, Agrifeeder has already connected over 50,000 farmers with modern agricultural techniques. The startup provides comprehensive support, from better seeds and organic fertilizers to advanced training and marketing assistance. Its flagship products include lemongrass tea, sattu, honey, jaggery, and Katarni rice.
