Actress Sheena Chohan, known for her ability to understand and fit into characters, has added a significant milestone to her journey as she was honoured with the Dr. Sarojini Naidu – The Nightingale of India – International Award for Working Women (2025). The prestigious ceremony, held at Marwah Studios, Noida, recognises outstanding women achievers across industries and is curated by *Dr. Sandeep Marwah and AAFT.

This achievement comes at a particularly special moment for Sheena, who is currently preparing for the release of her Telugu debut, a crime thriller where she plays a cop opposite JD Chakravarthy and then her Hollywood film, directed by Taron Lexton, who recently worked on Mission Impossible 8.

Sheena is currently in *Goa attending the masterclass sessions at the Goa International Film Festival. The actress has been actively participating in industry interactions, screenings and discussions, where her recent film **‘Sant Tukaram’* has been earning widespread praise. Several acclaimed directors and producers at the festival have applauded the film’s emotional depth, spiritual resonance and Sheena’s heartfelt performance — a portrayal that many believe is “educating audiences through pure word of mouth.”
