Muzzammil Shaikh India’s Youngest National News Channel Owner – Editor at Age Of 27

Pune, Maharashtra: At the age of just 27, journalist Muzzammil Shaikh has etched his name in history by becoming the youngest owner-editor of a national news channel in India. His remarkable feat of establishing and successfully broadcasting a channel across OTT platforms, set-top boxes, and multiple digital platforms has been officially recognized by the Maharashtra Book of Records.

The felicitation ceremony was held at Mahatma Phule Cultural Bhavan, Fatima Nagar, on Teachers’ Day. The event was jointly organized by the Maharashtra Book of Records and the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Education and Sports Association.

The award was conferred upon Muzzammil Shaikh by Adam Sayyed, President of the Maharashtra Book of Records, in the presence of distinguished guests including Ali Daruwala (Advisor, National Minority Commission), ex-corporator Nanda Lonkar ,Amanat Shaikh, Satish Rathod , Sneha Kulkarni, Asif Iqbal Shaikh, Iqbal Ansari, Mazhar Maniyar, journalists Sohel Shaikh, Farhan Shaikh,Sharad Bagde, entrepreneur Johnson Thomas, among others.

Adam Sayyed praised the achievement, remarking:

“Muzzammil Shaikh symbolizes the new-age spirit of journalism. His ability to establish a strong digital and broadcast presence at such a young age is a true inspiration for today’s generation.”
