New Delhi (Dwarka), September 24, 2025: Delhi is fully decorated to welcome Navratri, with Ramleela preparations in full swing everywhere. In Dwarka too, cultural programs began alongside the Navratri celebrations. A Dandiya Night was organized at the Bal Ramlila Ground in Sector 13, Dwarka. The aim of this event was to promote Indian culture and traditions, while also instilling respect for heritage among children.

The event was graced by chief guests Ms. Raj Sharma (District President, BJP, Najafgarh), Mr. R.P. Khandelwal (former CMD, HLL Lifecare), Mr. Dharmdev, Mr. Rajan Nagal, Mr. Harid Gupta, Mr. Rawat (Reader, Police Station 17), Mrs. Sandhya Singh (Founder, Durga Saptashati Foundation), and Dr. Ashish Gupta (Owner, Emirates Cancer Hospital). Their presence added dignity to the celebration.

Alongside Dandiya, Dwarka’s evening echoed with devotional songs and chants dedicated to the Goddess. Singing, dancing, joy, and festivity filled the atmosphere everywhere. The Bal Ramlila Utsav Samiti played a key role in organizing the event, with active contributions from Chairperson, Pratima Jain (Cultural Secretary), Shubha Duggal (Cultural Secretary), Lalit Bijlani (Vice President), Chitra Viswanathan, Vandana Bhotia, and Sandy Bidla.

Vice President Lalit Bijlani said, “We feel proud that through the Cultural Bal Ramlila Utsav Samiti, we are making efforts to carry forward Indian culture and values.”

The melodious Dandiya songs created such magic that everyone was compelled to dance. Adding to the charm were Mukta Saxena’s choreography and the brilliant performance by her Mukta Dance and Fitness Academy. Hundreds of people joined the Dandiya, making the night an unforgettable memory.

To further promote cultural and traditional arts, various art stalls were also set up, which received great appreciation from the public.
