The film, directed by Top Gun: Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kosinski and produced by veteran producer Jerry Bruckheimer, hit theatres on June 27, 2025, and went on to enjoy a blockbuster run, grossing USD 595.3 million worldwide.

The Storyline
The plot follows a washed-up American driver, Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), who is lured back into the world of Formula 1 by his former teammate Reuben Cervantes (Javier Bardem). Reuben now manages the struggling Apex GP team, which has gone two seasons without scoring a single point.
Their last chance at redemption? Pairing Sonny with a young, hot-headed rookie, Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), in hopes of turning the team’s fortunes around.
